MISSING LINKS - SNOW

These 3 Snows, Matilda, Nancy & Sarah, are reported to be sisters. No one has been able to determine who they "belong" to. They all married Salings and lived in Missouri at one time. Nancy Snow is said to have been born in North Carolina.  It is possible that the mother of the Snow Sisters was orginally from Ireland or of Irish descent.

Any help anyone could provide would really, really, really be appreciated!!

Thanks,

Paula

Notes for Rumsey (Spouse 1)

"History of Monroe and Shelby Co., Mo." 1884.

Rumsey Saling, an early settler of Marion Township, Monroe County, was a great hunter and was so fond of his past time that when game became scarce around his home, he moved to Texas where he could pursue with better results his favorite recreation.

Gregg, Rosalie, Ed, Wise County History A link with the past. Vol. 1 @ 1975 Nortex Press (NIP) (p179)

"Mr. & Mrs. Rumsey Saling, among the first settlers in the community, made history of a kind when they died less than a day apart. A double funeral service was conducted, and they are buried in the same cemetery that is the Owen's Final Resting Place"
